Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga is about self-care. The poses explored are simple and restorative. At times, the class is on the mat the entire time while other times, you will explore scaled versions of standing poses. Meditation and breath control are practiced as well as a longer final relaxation period. This is an excellent class for those who need to de-stress, breathe, and rebuild their own personal space.

Beginner Yoga

A delightful class to begin your yoga journey. This class welcomes all levels of yoga, but primarily targets the novice. The instruction is thorough and offers modifications and adjustments throughout. This is a wonderful first class to try and experience the basics of your budding yoga practice.

Hatha Yoga

This class is open to all levels as modifications are always presented. Typically, poses are held for 6-8 breaths and there are small flows between the poses.This class is a good start for the beginner or someone new to a consistent practice.

Yin/Restorative Yoga

Gentle yoga is about self-care. The poses explored are simple and restorative. At times, the class is on the mat the entire time while other times, you will explore scaled versions of standing poses. Embodied Flow

This class blends traditional breath- based yoga movements with strengthening exercises. Each class has a different focus (either a pose type or body part). However, a typical class will begin with centering, followed by warmups, varied asana and vinyasa sequences interspersed with strengthening exercises and it will end with cooling poses and savasana. Cueing will emphasize anatomy and biomechanics. This class is geared for students who have a foundational knowledge of yoga. You can expect a varied playlist of “contemporary” music. A curious, playful mind is requested, but not required.

Vinyasa Yoga

This class is about movement and flow. The poses are aligned with the breath to keep vital energy moving through the student. Sequences are slowly built to a challenging level and then slowly brought back down to the mat. You will feel invigorated as you work up a light sweat in this class. This class welcomes intermediate to advanced students. Modifications will also be shared as part of this practice.
