Sue is happy to be sharing in the practice of teaching yoga since completing 200hours of yoga teacher training in May 2016 at OM Central Jersey Yoga @ Shore Point Yoga in Point Pleasant. Her 35 year career working as an occupational therapist established her functional knowledge of human development throughout the life span. Her personal practice of yoga has been an integral part of her own life, while caring for her family at the Jersey Shore. With her husband Bob, they raised 3 great guys, who are interesting and kind young men.
The physical, anatomical and developmental principals of yoga compliment the daily needs of the human body to move, stretch, balance and breathe. Sue strongly believes the practice of yoga is available to every kind of body, and can be accessible at each stage and age in our life cycle, with modifications as needed. Her personal experience with breast cancer reinforced the power of yoga movements and meditation as healing tools.
Sue’s mission is to facilitate a sense of confidence and curiosity about practicing yoga with all those she is in contact with, in class, and off the mat. She finds joy in the personal and collective journeys available with each and every yoga class, whether as student or teacher!
