Dominique Farina RYT500, is a devoted yogi, dog mama, avid traveler and a lover of the sea. She began her daily practice in 2007 and received her first certificate in 2015 under Sri Dharma Mittra. Dominique believes strongly that as a teacher, it’s important to have our own sadhana (daily practice) and to continuously learn and grow from our teachers so we can serve others.
In January 2019, Dominique went to India with her teacher Raghunath and completed her 500hr Advanced teacher training & Bhakti immersion. After going to a 10day silent meditation called Vipassana, Dominique realized and believes she was placed on this earth to share what her teachers have shared with her, that which is the Science of Yoga & Spirit through the practice and study of, asana, pranayama, mantra, sacred literature, meditation and Seva (selfless service).
Dominique’s classes have elements of both Hatha-Raja & Bhakti yoga traditions. She intuitively guides her students from her heart and each class is infused with love & compassion towards everyone’s unique bodily makeup which allows the students to practice in a playful yet supportive space where alignment doesn’t go unnoticed.
